The Environmental Soil Chemistry Program at the University of Idaho is directed by Dan Strawn. Research in this program is focused on gaining a better understanding of reaction processes in the environment.
To accomplish this, students are directed on research projects that employ cutting-edge techniques and experiments to gain new insights into contaminant and nutrient speciation, reaction pathways, and mineralogy in soils.
